 The St. Louis Rams were hoping that the young offensive line would come together this season to give quarterback Marc Bulger and running back Stephen Jackson some help. That has not been the case as the offense has sputtered along, leading the way to a 1-7 record and last place in the NFC West. Running back Jackson has fought for every one of the 784 yards he has gotten. Still, the lack of push in the endzone has not helped and can easily be blamed for him only getting into the endzone once so far this season. 2009 has been really rough for Bulger. Bulger has little time to throw the ball and a young receiving group that has made a hobby out of dropping passes. The offense is not the only culprit on this team. The defense is better than the 2008 Rams, but not much. They still rank fourth to last in the league, allowing 26.1 points a game. They can neither stop the run or the pass. This team is simply a mess. The Rams have eight games left on the schedule and play five of them at home at Edward Jones Dome. This gives Rams fans a chance to see live professional football. This team might get the chance to play spoilers, so that alone is worth searching out St. Louis Rams tickets.
