The New York Giants are 7-6 and nearly out of the picture, but they are fighting tooth and nail to make every one of these last three games count. They are far from out of the postseason. The Giants have the potential to overtake the Cowboys for the last wild card spot. This would be a huge moral victory for the football team that was once 5-0. They seem to have weathered their low point of the season and are rallying for the postseason.

New York only gets to play at Giants Stadium for one of those last three games. They play the Redskins, Panthers, and Vikings. The Redskins can be a challenge simply because they are a division match up. The Panthers should be an easy win. The Vikings are going to be a difficult challenge and could be the deciding game in their playoff renaissance.

The Giants are finding that they can score in these last four games. They have eclipsed 30 points three of the last four teams. Eli Manning has set single game marks in yardage twice in that span. Receivers Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, and Mario Manningham continue to be downfield threats that can be 100 players any game. Kevin Boss is still the solid option over the middle. The running game has not been dominant, but you should never count out the brutal force of Brandon Jacobs.

Defense has been abysmal. Any team that is a threat can score on these guys. However, just about every team in the NFC has not been able to stop a real opponent. The secondary needs to do something to stop a quarterback from going deep.

Nonetheless, Giants fans must be excited with the schedule ahead and the impending demise of the Dallas Cowboys. Giants Stadium is going out with a bang in the 2009 NFL season. Giants tickets are going to be available for one home game this season, even if they make the playoffs so expect that game against the Panthers to be packed.
