 Miami Dolphins tickets have been a fan favorite in South Florida since 1966. It surely helped that after a reasonable four seasons of struggle, don Shula turned the Dolphins into a powerhouse, taking the AFC East division title four straight seasons from 1971 to 1974. The Miami Dolphins went to the Super Bowl three times and came away winners in 1972 and 1973, with 1972 becoming the only perfect season in the NFL history during the Super Bowl era. Those teams featured Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris in the backfield, Bob Griese at quarterback, Paul Warfield at wide receiver, and an impressive defense nicknamed the "No-Name" defense. Of course, the Miami Dolphins were also always a contender in the 1980s, but that was because of a quarterback named Dan Marino. Marino set passing records as the Dolphins seemingly abandoned the run. He played in a single Super Bowl and the Dolphins lost 38-16. This has marred his career, but he will still be remembered as one of the most prolific passers in the game.
