The team has managed to stay afloat by beating four teams that currently have a sub-.500 record. Still, the Jaguars appear to be heading into the stretch of the schedule playing there best football. Running back Maurice Jones-Drew has been unstoppable scoring seven touchdowns in the last four games. Quarterback David Garrard is posting a very healthy 83.5 QB Rating and is simply trying to manage games instead of force throws. Jacksonville has even found a go-to receiver in Mike Sims-Walker. Sims-Walker may only have 39 catches on the season, but he is averaging 15.5 yards a reception and has five touchdown catches. The defense needs to get much better if this team is to do anything more than block the Texans from going to the playoffs. They are susceptible to the run and pass and give up 24.4 points a game (26th in the NFL). Jacksonville has a couple soft games ahead with the Bills and Browns on the schedule, but they also have to play the likes of the Colts and 49ers. The Texans are coming to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium to get revenge for their Week 3 loss as well.
