The Dallas Cowboys began the 2012 NFL in spectacular fashion, upending the franchise rival New York Giants as they began their attempt at a repeat run to the Super Bowl. Dallas Cowboys 2013

The Dallas Cowboys fell short in the NFC East last season, finishing 8-8 and third in the division. Though the division winner (the Giants) would win the Super Bowl, they only went 9-7.
