 Atlanta Falcons tickets have available for the Georgia football fans since 1966. Now, the Falcons have always been in competition with the dominate sport in the region, college football. Atlanta's almost franchise-long struggle has not helped, as the Falcons have only posted 15 records of .500 or better in their history. The Atlanta Falcons have won four NFC West division titles and have been to one Super Bowl. The one Super Bowl run came in 1998. The Falcons were 14-2, but they basically underdogs throughout the playoffs, coming from a weak division. Head coach Dan Reeves, quarterback Chris Chandler, running back Jamal Anderson, and the rest of the "Dirty Birds" certainly kept fans on the edge of their seats in through the NFC side of the postseason. The Falcons began by defeating the 49ers 20-18 at the Georgia Dome in the Divisional playoffs and then took out the favorite Minnesota Vikings 30-27 in overtime on the road in the NFC Championship. Unfortunately for Falcons fans, Atlanta could not keep the Cinderella story going, as they lost 34-19 to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl XXXIII.
