 Apart from, Michael Tilson Thomas, who was the founder of NSW, many ther principal conductors have been a part of these orchestra such as Alasdair Neale, Paavo Järvi, Sir Neville Marriner, Oliver Knussen, David Robertson and Mark Wigglesworth. Apart from performing at Lincoln Theater, they have also toured in Rome and New York's Carnegie Hall.
New World Symphony Orchestra are going to organize another evening of sheer delight where music will flow all around. The musicians who will be performing in the orchestra are cellist Yo-Yo Ma, soprano Renée Fleming, baritone Thomas Hampson, and violinist Christian Tetzlaff, among others. There are also other attractions of this show, they are a three-concert series at Miami's new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts. The conductor of the show will be Michael Tilson Thomas himself, the founder. These show promises to be different from other shows as they will also present The World of Shostakovich, which is a festival that will celebrate the centenary of the composer at both the Lincoln Theatre, which is the home of The New World Symphony Orchestra on Miami Beach, as well as in New York's Carnegie Hall. There are many other attractions of the concert, as it will also offer some of the favorite and memorable masterpieces of great composers and musicians such as Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Grieg's Piano Concerto, Debussy's La Mer, Stravinsky's Pétrouchka, and many more- as well as exciting new works.
