Celine Dion
Formed in Coral Springs, Florida in the summer of 1997, the group has spawned outstanding international notoriety over the past couple years. The band includes Jordan Pundik on vocals, Chad Gilbert on guitar, Steve Klein on guitar, Cyrus Bolooki on drums, and Ian Grushka on bass. The band combines hard-core, emo, and rock in an attempt to reinterpret the once narrow definition of "punk". Through out their songs, News Found Glory has touched on themes that every teenager in the world dwells on such as heartache, loss of a loved one, enjoying your life, and mixed emotions. Distorted amps and catchy choruses, combined with adaptability and passionate energy, give this band a sound that stands out among the army of guitar wielding clones that have recently flooded the punk music scene. Drive-Thru Records eventually caught wind of the group, signed them, and released the EP Nothing Gold Can Stay, and From the Screen to Your Stereo, in 1998. MCA and Drive-Thru teamed up in 2000 to release the band's highly successful self-titled album that spawned such hits as "Hit Or Miss," which flew straight into heavy rotation charts of the nation's largest rock radio stations and resulted in nearly-gold sales.

Artist Biography - A New Found Glory
|
Though the signature pop-punk style of their self-titled record was successful, the band has reached out even further, generating fresh ideas and expanding their musical bandwidth outwards. Sticks and Stones, A New Found Glory's third album, is an example of that. It is a more diverse record with more hardcore inspired breakdowns. After seeing New Found Glory consistently sell out venues last year that veteran, platinum acts were only half filling, the organizers of Warped Tour have secured the band for a headlining slot. New Found Glory re-entered the studio after the tour to record Catalyst, which found the band's sugary punk-pop steeped in influences from hardcore and thrash to keyboard-y new wave.
