Orlando Magic Tickets for Sale
The Orlando Magic are just one season removed from the Dwight Howard fiasco, they were smart enough to pawn him off on the Los Angeles Lakers for some role players and draft picks which they intend to rebuild their franchise with. They finished last season with a 20-62 record, ending up with the 2nd overall pick of the NBA Draft.
The Magic picked former Indiana All American Victor Oladipo with their first pick in the draft, it was considered a great pickup by most basketball analysts, they also selected former University of Oklahoma Power Forward Romero Osby with their second round pick. The Orlando Magic traded away sharp shooter J.J. Reddick, Gustavo Anyon, and Ish Smith, this past off season for Doron Lamb, Beno Udrih, and Tobias Harris.
The team signed point guard Ronnie price, and power forward Jason Maxiell, both are considered good free agent acquisitions, they have since let Beno Udrih, and Dequan Jones leave via free agency. Other than the two free agent signings, the Orlando Magic have been relatively quiet this off season which indicates they are intending to be big players in the 2014 free agent market.
There will be a lot of big names in the free agent market next year, some of the bigger names include Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Tony Parker, Paul Pierce, Paul George, Kobe Bryant, and Lebron James. The magic will give their rookies a lot of playing time this season, where they will go through some growing pains, they should be able to learn from the experience and improve their game, like Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook did in Seattle/Oklahoma city.
The Orlando Magic don't look like a playoff team right now, but could sneak in because they play in the eastern conference and the 8th seeds in two of the past three seasons got in with a losing record. Look for the magic to be slightly improved from last season, and to be major players in free agency in 2014 when they are finally going to be able to contend in the east.
