Toronto Raptors Tickets

Toronto Raptors is definitely a team in flux. This year the General Manager Bryan Colangelo is gone, and with him a lot of his office staff. This year, the man in charge of running the team is the Masai Ujiri, fresh from an exceptional run as the general manager of the team Denver Nuggets.

Ujiri was persuaded from the Nuggets by Tim Leiweke, the newly appointed CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. The two are thinking about changing the guards for the Raptor team. Furthermore, they are thinking of resetting the image of Toronto raptor, which is shaky as of now.

As much as they plan to do a lot switching and changing, yet there are still things that never change. Looking away from the marketing and rebranding discussion, the on-court product could still need a bit of improvement. Nevertheless, they have incorporated an athletic and talented core, which could spell a big change for the good.

The benches for the Raptors are bolstering some newcomers such as Dwight Buycks, Austin Daye, Steve Novak, Tyler Hansbrough and D.J. Augustin. However, the team is still very dependent on the team’s starting five.

The team is definitely not lacking in ability with players such as Amir Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas, Rudy Gay, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. However, the mentioned players still need a lot of work when it comes to playing as a group and individually.

For Ujiri, the biggest challenge as of now is to assess the team’s athletic core of overall unselfishness, defense and shooters.

Toronto Raptors could be the team that could make it to the finals this year and bring home the ring. The team has the necessary players, talents and ability to achieve that goal. The only real question is could they bring the magic to shock the world. In a game that is not prone to shocks and surprises. Anything could happen.
