Boston Celtics Tickets

Bolton Celtics are an NBA team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The team plays in the Atlantic Divisions’ Eastern Conference. Having earned a poor offensive rating of 101.1, the 3rd worst, in the 2012playoffs, the team is set to improve its offensive in the upcoming season. The team has learnt many offensive tactics from the Rockets and it is set to make the tactics better.

Key Players

Rajon Rondo is expected to turn things round for the better in the upcoming season. Being a veteran ball-handler, he is a key player in the team who is expected to offer some of the best passes in the entire NBA. Bolton Celtics are making sure that Rajon’s health is observed as well as make improvements to his tactics in order to assist the team in making it to playoffs.

In the upcoming 2013-2014 season, Bolton Celtics will be evaluating key players such as Kelly Olynyk, Jeff Green, Avery Bradley and Jared Sullinger. The team is set to find takers for Brandon Bass, Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace and Courtney Lee. In preparation for the upcoming season, players such as Jordan Crawford and Marshon Brooks will be evaluated to check if they can be helpful to the team.

The team is looking forward to ensure that it will stay highly competitive over the upcoming season to ensure that Boston fans are kept happy.

New Plans for the Team

The team’s new coach is ensuring that his transition from college basketball to national basketball won’t affect the team’s performance in the upcoming season. The new coach is set to rely on new tactics for the team such as de-emphasizing the mid-range shot for the team to perform better. The team will be relying on tactics that will improve its offensive rebounding. The team will be emphasizing drive-and-kicks as well as motion sets from its secondary ball-handlers. This can lead to more assists.

Boston Celtics History

The Boston Celtics are an incredible franchise that has won 17 championships in 21 NBA finals appearances. Its uniform has been worn by 16 Hall of Fame players, including Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Dennis Johnson, Nate Archibald, and Bob Cousy. It is a basketball franchise that may be the very best of all NBA teams.

All this began in 1946, but the fans would have to wait a decade before the team would win its first championship. It would be the first of 11 in 13 seasons. This would be the second dynasty in the history of the league and the first for the franchise. Bill Russell served as the anchor for the defense for this squad and players like Bob Cousy, Tom Heinsohn, K.C. Jones, John Havlicek, and Sam Jones worked with him to dominate for over a decade. The only other team that has enjoyed as close to a run has been the New York Yankees in the MLB.

Boston fans have never had to endure futility for very long. The brief struggle in the 1970s ended when Dave Cowens suited up and took the place of Russell. Larry Bird, Dennis Johnson, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale took over in the 1980s and continued a rivalry with the Los Angeles Lakers that had begun decades earlier when the Lakers played in Minneapolis.

Unfortunately, the tragic death of Reggie Lewis (Bird’s replacement) left the franchise reeling until Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce teamed up to begin the 21st century. Walker would be allowed to leave and Boston spent the next few seasons looking for a great nucleus. General Manager and former Celtic player Danny Ainge managed to obtain the services of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. The trio of Pierce, Garnett, and Allen won one championship and kept the team competitive. Now Pierce and Garnett remain and Boston appears ready to find a new cast of stars to lead the team to the finals.
