Mogwai
Mogwai is a Rock band that is based in Scotland. The band came into being in 1996 and is fronted by lead guitarist, vocalist Stuart Braithwaite. The band's original line up of the band included drummer Martin Bulloch and guitarist Dominic Aitchison. All three were great friends and wanted to make a name for themselves in the music world. With the addition of guitarist John Cummings, the band was complete.
This new line-up released their first single "Tuner" in March 1996. This was followed by the collaborative single with Dween titled, "Angels, Vs Angels." The single became a huge hit and entered the Top 10 on the British Indie Charts. Although the band didn't have any new singles but did appear frequently because of collaborations with other bands. Much later in the year the band released another single, "Summer."

 In 1997, the band released another slew of singles, "New Paths to Helicon" and the album "Ten Rapid," which was a compilation of their earlier works and recordings. The band were recording their EP the same year when they were joined by Brendan O'Hare who was a former member of Teenage Fanclub. The band finally issues their debut album at the end of 1997, titled, "Young Team." The next album, "Kicking a Dead Pig" in 1998. The band has now build a respectable fan base and their popularity was soaring.
Mogwai released their much anticipated follow up, "Come on Die Young." The band has been releasing albums consistently over the years and have provided the Indie music lovers some great music.
