Background - Detroit Tigers
Detroit rallied around slugger Hank Greenberg and stars Charlie Gehringer and Mickey Cochrane to take the Tigers into constant contention until the early years of World War II. Tigers tickets took fans to four World Series in ten years and had Detroit baseball fans seeing two eventual champions.

He whipped Tigers stars like Jack Morris, Alana Trammell, Lou Whitaker, and Kirk Gibson into frenzy and took the Tigers to an unforgettable series that was again inspired confidence in Detroit season tickets. The Tigers struggled through the ‘90s, but returned with World Series tickets in 2006. Detroit lost to the Cardinals, but they announced to all of MLB that they were no longer a joke.

|
 The 2008 season was supposed to be another year of contention for the Detroit Tigers. Instead fans who invested hard-earned money into season tickets suffer through an opening season debacle that quickly took the Tigers from star-studded favorites to MLB's biggest mystery. Comerica Park is not looking so glum now though, as the Tigers are back at .500 and tickets to games have the potential for a division schedule that could bring Detroit back to where they were supposed to be.
The Tigers suffered from an ineffective, overpaid offense at first, but they have woken up since making tickets for games exciting with homeruns and high scoring affairs. Marcus Thames and Miguel Cabrera are leading the bats in power as Magglio Ordonez and Placido Polanco heat up fro solid averages for the Tigers. Unfortunately, those Tigers tickets that find high scoring games also find a struggling pitching staff. The only respectable Detroit starter has been Armando Galarraga, as Justin Verlander has tried to get back to his ace form. Tigers tickets are not a complete bust this season thanks to the teams resurgence after a terrible start.
