Cincinnati Reds Tickets
The most impressive is the Big Red Machine of the 1970s that won four National League Pennants and two World Series. The team sold tickets with an explosive offense packed with Joe Morgan, Ken Griffey Sr., George Foster, Dave Concepcion, and Pete Rose. The amazing collection of talent brought the World Series back to Cincinnati for its first World Series victory in 35 years in 1975. Reds fans clinched their teeth as they waited for the final out and for Major League Baseball's oldest team to return to the very top.
The Reds were able to repeat the performance in 1976 before the next decade filled the locker room with bad blood brought on by a Pete Rose betting scandal and an owner, Marge Schott, whose personal prejudices could not be hidden from the players. Reds tickets would not be in demand until the ‘90s.
The very first year of the decade was a tremendous success. Chris Sabo, Barry Larkin, Eric Davis, and Paul O'Neill did their best to recreate the Big Red Machine and Rob Dibble, Norm Charleston, and Randy Myers were able to provide the pitching as the Reds brought World Series tickets and rings home with a clean sweep of the heavily-favored Oakland Athletics.

|
 The Cincinnati Reds started the 2009 MLB season much better than expected. The baseball team hovered around .500 until the week after the All Star break. Then the Reds began a descent and settled in to the middle of the standings in the NL Central. The Reds ended up finishing 78-84 and in fourth place. They were 13 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals, and made up most of those games with a pretty good September in which they went 18-9. The team struggled offensively all season long, relying on an overachieving pitching staff to give fans at the Great American Ball Park hope. Though the offense was stifled, producing just the 11th most runs in the NL, the entire lineup was not useless. First baseman Joey Votto set himself apart, hitting .322 and 25 homeruns in just 131 games. In fact the entire roster was plagued with injuries and midseason trades. The only position player to play more games than Votto was Brandon Phillips. Phillips hit a respectable .276, 20 homeruns, drove in 98 runs, and stole 25 bases over the chaotic Reds schedule. The pitching staff had just one starter with an ERA below 4.00. Brandon Arroyo had a great season, going 15-13 with a 3.84 ERA. Aaron Harang and Johnny Cueto had respectable years too. Harang had an ERA of 4.21 and Cueto had an ERA of 4.41. Edison Volquez was on his way to a great year it seemed, until injuries knocked him out of the rotation after just nine starts. Where the Cincinnati Reds pitching staff excelled was in the bullpen. Francisco Cordero had 39 saves and a 2.16 ERA. Nick Masset, Arthur Rhodes, and Danny Herrera all managed to have great years as set up men. The Cincinnati Reds should look forward to the 2010 MLB, with a season schedule free from midseason white flag trades and team crippling injuries. This is not a terrible baseball team, and this last season proved that they could be a contender in the NL Central.
