Boston Red Sox Tickets

Boston Red Sox Tickets
Boston Red Sox tickets will not be available for a bottle of beer by the end of the 2013 MLB season schedule, as they were last season. Of course, they are going to be hard to come by at the beginning of the spring, but this team has enough talent to stay competitive in the AL East well beyond the All Star break. Essentially, this year’s team will make up for last season by making the best of this far less sexy, but very solid lineup.
Fenway Park is a hitters paradise, and newly acquired Mike Napoli and Stephen Drew are going to, if healthy, put up some of the best offensive stats of their careers. Frankly, when a player like Napoli is predicted to be hitting from the fifth spot in the batting order it is obvious the team is better than a last place squad. Unfortunately, he may cause some problems during the season when his defense becomes a liability. Then he may have to move over to DH or become a less than everyday player. This is not just an individual concern, but one that is going to affect the rest of the infield (Drew, Dustin Pedroia, and Will Middlebrooks) as well as whoever is on the mound.
This persistent worry will not be the only reason Boston’s pitching staff could struggle. The Red Sox made long term bets on Jon Lester, Clay Buchholz, and John Lackey and are now missing an ace to anchor the rotation and set the tone. Felix Doubront is an intriguing pitcher who loves to strikeout hitters, but needs to continue to lower his WHIP to get his ERA somewhere around 4.00. Ryan Dempster is a nice addition, but he is not going to cure any of the woes.
Luckily, the Boston Red Sox bullpen is loaded. Joel Hanrahan is the closer with shutdown stuff and Andrew Bailey would be the closer on just about any other team. If anything, the BoSox have too many quality relievers and could trade one of these players (Bailey) for a decent upgrade once the pennant race truly begins.

Boston Red Sox History
The Boston Red Sox should not be defined by the Curse of the Bambino, but when the rival is the New York Yankees a franchise is doomed to pale in comparison. Boston fans, begrudgingly, know this and it fuels their maniacal fandom each and every year. So, those same Red Sox that bemoan a baseball dribbling through a first baseman’s legs are well aware of an impressive franchise resume and would be better served to celebrate it.
Fenway Park has been since almost the beginning of the team (1901) and has hosted seven World Series champions, 12 American League Pennants, and 12 players who are wearing the Boston Red Sox cap in the Baseball Hall of Fame. This stat line compares quite nicely with just about every other team in the league not playing baseball in the Bronx or St. Louis.
The stat line will only improve as the Red Sox of the 21st century have been competitive every year but one so far. These rosters have even been creating memories to replace the ones that have haunted the fans for so long. The most celebrated among these new pieces of baseball lore is not the 2004 World Series win, but the ALCS win that preceded it.
Down to their last out of the series in Game 4 against the Yankees, the club fought back. First they took the game to extra innings and won. Then the team won three additional games and made the rare comeback from a 3-0 hole. The ALCS series win proved so impressive, the World Series win over the St. Louis Cardinals seemed a mere afterthought. Fans are hoping for many more of these moments, especially if it involves thwarting the Yankees.
