Metallica is one of the most popular and influential heavy metal/rock bands of the past 20 years. They had huge success in the 1980s despite little or no promotion. However, they decided that the best course of action would be to continue and they continued with even more success than before. They had made the smash hit Master of Puppets with Burton; however it would pale in comparison to the success they would next have. In 1988, they once again were successful with And Justice for All, with no radio play. They actually only had one single video, for the track One.
