The band was so popular the patrons used to arrive hours early just to witness the best part of the evening: The midnight set by Metal Shop, which at times also feature real rock stars, with everyone from Steven Tyler and Paul Stanley jamming on stage. The Metal Shop then found home in Roxy where its successful run was further enhanced by celebrity fans like Adam Brody, Lindsay Lohan, and Jessica Simpson. Key club is now their new home and with its large space and larger crowd, Metal Skool is going place.

Metal Skool , as a band, promised a wildly metal, show packed with funny moments and an inherent ability to rock the house. The guys in Metal Skool , leave not stone unturned to go the whole hog, complete with Aquanet- and-80s spandex look. But what is very evident when you hear their music is that they are amazing and extremely talented in their sphere of operations. They cover a whole gamut of songs by artists like G&R, Whitesnake, Warrant, Bon Jove, Motley Crue, and more. Moreover they cover all these songs without breaking a sweat or forgetting a single note. They sync-up some backing tracks from the original version which might seem like going over the top but it adds an air of authenticity to the proceedings. This actually means that if you close your eyes you can really imagine that you are at a performance of a famous rock group.
