Soon after he took up a youth leader position in Nashville, Tennessee and there began his music journey. He went on to pursue a career as a successful songwriter with about 4 albums in his track record. He enjoyed acclaim for his works and was nominated many a time for the Dove Awards. He actually won the award once in 2006 when 'Mark Schultz Live: A Night of Stories and Songs' was identified to be the Long Form Music Video of the Year. He is recently busy in promoting his latest CD - Broken and Beautiful
