Mark Salling is a young performer in the all too familiar singer-actor mold. He began in show business in 1996 at the age of 14 with an appearance in Children of the Corn: The Gathering. The straight-to-video movie hardly sparked an Oscar-winning career. Instead, Mark Salling would play bit roles and tried to start his music career in 2007 with an album released under a stage name, Jericho. That album, released through his own label, Jericho Records, again, did not lead to fame.
Fame would come two years later after auditioning for a role on the surprise FOX hit Glee. As Noah "Puck" Puckerman, Mark Salling plays a football player and best friend of Finn Hudson. Eventually, Noah joins the club as well and becomes embittered in a love quadrangle whose plot twists run deep throughout the show.
