Mark Ronson Tickets for Sale
Describing Mark Ronson is difficult. Yes, he is a DJ and producer, but he still has three albums out in his name. They are all-inclusive genre pieces featuring a healthy mix of club techno, modern day hip hop, and elements of rock and pop. True, Mark Ronson and his backing band, the Business Intl, are mostly a studio concoction. Mark Ronson tickets do sell for club dates though, since he is a DJ.
He actually first made his name as a DJ. In 1993 he was playing DJ at clubs throughout New York as he attended New York University. Eventually, the manager for Nikka Costa heard him work his magic one night at a club and suddenly Mark Ronson turned producer and signed a record deal with Elektra Records. Critical acclaim and slow, but impressive record sales made his 2003 debut Here Comes the Fuzz a success. Suddenly his music and his image were being used in movies like Honey and ads from Tommy Hilfiger.
It took four years, but Mark Ronson came back with his second effort Version, this time under the Sony BMG label. Version eclipsed the record and sales and chart positions set by Here Comes the Fuzz. The album went double platinum in the UK and peaked at number two on the UK charts. The album even charted on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., reaching number 129 where his debut failed to make any mark.
Mark Ronson is back in 2010 with Record Collection. The album debuted the week of September 27, 2010 and reached number two in the UK, number six in Australia, and number 81 in the U.S. The album will surely reach certification in the UK and may do the same in the U.S., as the genres continue to converge in the states. OnlineSeats will have Mark Ronson tickets to see this critically-acclaimed and highly respected DJ at work live in clubs.
