Marc Maron has appeared in many films, performed at various off-Broadway shows, TV sitcoms and of course at numerous clubs. Apart from his act as a comedian, he is also an accomplished author, he has written of famous Broadway book "The Jerusalem Syndrome," based on his one-man show. Marc holds the attention of the audience with his skills as a storyteller and then reveals his hilarious secrets. He is also acclaimed for his insightful political and cultural commentary and study into complex human nature and mystical ruminations.

Marc was born in New Jersey and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He started his career as a stand up comic in the late 1980s when he came to Hollywood, California. His talent was recognized instantly and he soon became a recognized face. Since his first performance he has been living in San Francisco, Boston. He also has a home in New York City, this is where he co-founded the very first alternative comedy series, "Eating It," with his close friend and famous comedy star Janeane Garafalo. His performances on the popular Late Show with David Letterman got him positive reviews and made him a favorite with media.
