Madonna, one of the most controversial pop stars of her times continues to enjoy her success till date. In the past several years from the time she began her career in the music industry, she has released quite a lot albums which have thrilled the audience from around the world. In 1995, she worked in the film for the leading role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita. However, this talented and ravishing super star again bagged the role of Evita Peron, an album which had all the elements of ballad. This movie was nominated for both Academy Awards as well as Golden Globe Awards. Although, she could win the Academy Awards, but won the Golden Globe Awards for the Best Actress (Musical or Comedy). Apart from this, the two dance remixes of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina,' and the brand new version 'You Must Love Me' also became considerable hits.

The songs of the album were inspired by electronica, techno, and hip-hop. Just within few weeks of its release, the album reached at the number two position on the music charts, and became her biggest album ever released. The album did even higher business than her popular album 'Like A Prayer.' It was after two years, when she reunited with Orbit, working on the production from Mark 'Spike' Stent and Mirwais, who was a French electro-pop producer/musician. However, in the year 2000 Madonna, out of all the worldly affairs gave birth to her second child Rocco, who she had with movie maker Guy Richie.
