Los Tucanes De Tijuana Tickets for Sale

In 1995, Los Tucanes de Tijuana signed up with Alacran Records to release ‘14 Tucanazos Bien Pesados' and ‘Mundo de Amor'. That did the magic and made way for a new contract with EMI Latin. Though having been in the mix of music since 1995, 2002 is the year that positioned them in the limelight. That year, they appeared in the headlines of major events in New York, Mexico City's Azteca soccer stadium, Chicago, Acapulco, Mexico, and not to mention some of their other sold out performances in San Jose, Las Vegas, Durango, Reno, NV, in addition to other places. Also, theirs, supposedly, was the only Mexican band taking part in Alma Awards 2002 during which the crowd bestowed on them a standing ovation for their closing piece, their famous hit – ‘Me Gusta Vivir De Noche'.

They have been doing well on the charts too. They hold the all-time record for ‘most numbers on the Billboard/Soundscan Hot Latin Tracks chart on a single issue' by a ‘Regional Mexican Act'. For a long period of about 5 years, Los Tucanes de Tijuana have been kept busy and booked at an average of about 120 concerts per year, and in all those, have treated about more than 5 million fans. Their fame did extend beyond the borders and to name examples: "Mis tres animales" and "La Chona" stood at the top of the charts in Chile and Spain. Three of their musical productions were marked as Platinum Records and another eight as Gold Records by RIAA.

They claim to have been recognized by wide types of audience, spreading across the spectrum, including politicians and business representatives. This, they feel, is a result of them being perceived as cultural ambassadors, promoting good faith among societies.
They also enjoy popularity with the youth population, if the grand success of their album ‘Las 16 mas romanticas' is any indication to go by. It topped both of Billboard's and Soundscan's Latin charts: Hot Latin Tracks and Top Latin Albums, instantly after its release. Los Tucanes de Tijuana's videos have been popular for their quality and also for the appearances of appealing celebrity costars. With all said, there probably is no reason for a Norténo lover to go and grab a handful of tickets to their concerts!

Since debuting in 1995, Los Tucanes de Tijuana have been holding on to the top sections of the music charts, for unleashing their talent in an old northern Mexican style music. The band was put together by the quartet - Mario Quintero Lara, Joel Higuera, David Servin, and Mario Moreno. While every member of the band contributes through his specialized talent, Mario Quintero Laro is the leader of the pack and is the official director. Los Tucanes de Tijuana have been identified primarily with the Norténo genre but they also claim that some of their works are not just restrictive but include a few other popular Mexican folklore genres. Though their typically matching suits and hats hint about the old northern Mexico, they have a fan following that is contemporary.
