Linkin Park Tickets for Sale
Linkin Park started as a nu metal band back in 1996. The band has since sold tens of millions of albums while constantly modifying its sound. Albums "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" pushed nu metal and rap metal into the spotlight. However, "Minutes to Midnight" and "A Thousand Suns" branched out into a far different sound. Such a trend continued with "Living Things", LP's most recent album. Without a doubt, Linkin Park could be considered the biggest band since the turn of the century.
In 2014, the band will embark upon international and domestic tours, starting in the summer. Linkin Park will headline its own international tour before joining 30 Seconds to Mars and AFI on a domestic tour. Millions of people around the world consider themselves fans of this group, and shows often draw huge crowds. Likely, various artists will open for LP and play alongside the band at different points in the tour. Fans won't have any trouble seeing live performances this year.
Otherwise, Linkin Park continues work on its sixth full-length studio album, which is currently untitled. A tentative release date pegged by Mike Shinoda himself indicates a summer 2014 release. Little information is available on the album, but the band has shown a penchant for pushing musical boundaries. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the sixth album will feature an evolved sound in comparison to "Living Things". Everything is pure speculation at this point, though.
Linkin Park has been one of the most popular rock bands for over a decade. With that in mind, members of the band continue to produce music and tour on a regular basis. Most members have their own side projects, but they have never let those projects interfere with the main band. More tours and a sixth studio album are guaranteed for 2014. In 2015, the band will likely continue making more music and putting on more live performances. They show no signs of slowing down in the near future.
