Kutless Tickets for Sale

Background- With hundreds of shows, three full-length albums, a host of performances in a number of countries, thousand of kilometers covered and almost millions of fans rocked, the five some, Portland, Oregon-based Kutless are just great to hear and are still rocking the world. They believe in spreading the word of God through their music to the people.

This feeling is echoed by the member of the band. "This year, we've been reaching out a little bit more," says Sumrall. "We've got three records out now and we've kind of solidified the band, so to speak. It's been fun, because now, this past year and this coming year, we'll be able to branch out and team up with other organizations and partnerships to try and make a difference in the world and in individuals' lives."

In the year 2002, they released their first full-length album "Kutless" on BEC Recordings. Their first single was "Your Touch". The next single was, "Run", that became one of the longest charting song, and created history in the R&R Top 40 charts. In the year 2004, they came out with second full-length album, "Sea of Faces". The album received strong reviews and Kutless started to tour heavily. In the year 2005, Kutless decided to release their first worship album, "Strong Tower". After the recording of the album was over, bassist Kyle Zeigler and drummer Kyle Mitchell left the band, before the album was released. They were later replaced by bassist Dave Leutkenhoelter and drummer Jeffrey Gilbert, both of them came from the Christian rock band Seven Places. In the same year with the new line-up, Kutless went on the Strong Tower tour.

After the tour they started recording for their new album "Hearts of the Innocent" which was released in the year 2006. The album was produced by Aaron Sprinkle. The album was a smashing hit. According to Sumrall, "I think it even helped with the overall diversity of the record, as we weren't in one mindset throughout the entire recording process". He says "I'm very excited about it and am very pleased with the way it turned out." The single "Shut Me Out" has been been doing well on the Christian rock charts. "We kind of wanted to put out the first single with an in-your-face rock ‘n' roll song," says Sumrall, "to be like, ‘Hey, we're back and we're rockin' it.'"

The single "Shut Me Out" is based on the Biblical story, about Paul's determination to spread truth in the universe. "This whole song is a little in-your-face perspective in that we have things in our hearts that we believe are right and true, and in the same nature that Paul did a couple thousand years ago, we feel like you can ridicule us, point fingers at us, yell at us and do whatever to us, but we believe in this and you can't make us stop," says Sumrall.

The present members of Kutless are Jon Micah Sumrall as the lead vocalist (2001-present), James Mead as the guitarist, backing vocals (2001-present), Ryan Shrout as the guitarist, backing vocals (2001-present), Dave Leutkenhoelter as the bassist (2005-present) and Jeffrey Gilbert as the drummer (2005-present). The former members were Nathan Stuart, A.K.A. "Stu" as the bassist (2001-2002), Kyle Zeigler as the bassist (2002-2005) and Kyle Mitchell as the drummer (2001-2005).

As Sumrall says, "This year, we've been reaching out a little bit more. We've got three records out now and we've kind of solidified the band, so to speak. It's been fun, because now, this past year and this coming year, we'll be able to branch out and team up with other organizations and partnerships to try and make a difference in the world and in individuals' lives."
