The Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble offers performances such as contemporary taiko ensemble, traditional and contemporary taiko ensemble drumming, Japanese lion dance, and taiko collaborations. These performances are often given in group. The contemporary taiko ensemble combines traditions and rhythms from West and East featuring the traditional taiko in a world music ensemble using instruments like vibraphones, congas, viola, saxophone, bamboo flutes, and much more. Traditional and contemporary taiko ensemble drumming is aurally and visually exciting and dynamic. The Japanese lion dance features a gorgeous gold-headed lioness with white mane and is performed for good luck and fortune on auspicious days such as anniversaries, weddings, celebrations, commemorations, openings and other such occasions.
