About Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson is one of the few winners of America Idol that has been able to outlast the 15 minutes of fame that follow the show. She won the first season of the addictive television show and struggled for the next few years trying to find her sound.  Her first album went platinum, but it was her second album, Breakaway (2004), that made her a true global idol. She added more rock to her style, but initial reaction to the change was lackluster. Eventually she would win over a new fan base with singles Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because of You, and Walk Away. The third album, My December, came in 2007 was hindered by conflicts with management. The conflicts forced her to switch to Starstruck Entertainment.
