Juvenile has been creating waves with his songs in America as well as other parts of the world. Juvenile means "bounce" and he derived it from his southern rap style. His real name is Terius Gray born on 25th March in the year 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. He is an Afro-American gangsta rapper. He started his career at the age of 19. He started recording with Warlock Records and released "Being Myself", using the distinctive southern style. The hit song of the album was "Bounce for the Juvenile". In the year 1997, Juvenile signed up with Cash Money Records and released hi debut "Solja Rags" debut. It became a smashing hit. In 1999, "Solja Rags" was re-released all over the nation and it again became a grand hit. He became well-known with this hit. He had a a huge fan following him.

He then released " 400 Degreez" which was hit too and its single, "Back That Azz Up", eventually became a pop crossover hit of the year 2000. At that same time the remixed version of "Being Myself" was released by Warlock Records. He then released "The G-Code" and "Project English" in the year 2001,. The single "Mamma Got Ass" was a minor hit. After this, Juvenile left the Cash Money Records. He then signed up with a another label UTP Records (Uptown Project Records) and released "The Compilation" in the year 2002 with his new crew. In the year 2003 he release the album "Juve the Great", under Cash Money, again. Recently he has released hi next album Reality Check under UTP/Atlantic Records. Altogether, he has released a total of nine albums.
When in the year 2004, he released his album "Juve The Great " it was a massive hit and the single "Slow Motion" garnered rave reviews. The song also featured in the Billboard's Hot 100 chart on. The song was also the first one to become Hot 100 No.1 for Juvenile and the late Soulja Slim. What's more, the song managed to be so successful only on the strength of urban radio airplay, as it did not had massive pop crossover success. The album "Juve The Great" was critically acclaimed as well as commercial acclaim, too. Following this success, Juvenile and his UTP crew created and produced the next song "Nolia Clap" which became another hit. Juvenile use this song to procure a new deal for himself and UTP at Atlantic Records. He then went on to release his new album Reality Check, which he expected that will become hit. This album also has some guest appearances too, they are Fat Joe, Ludacris, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Brian McKnight, Trey Songz, Bun B, 8-Ball, Skip and Wacko with production by Lil' Jon, Scott Storch. Mannie Fresh and Cool & Dre, among others.He has also carried out a New York and New Orleans remix to his single "What's Happenin'". The remix of New York features N.Y. rappers Papoose and Jae Millz and the New Orleans remix features N.O. rapper B.G. and also producer Mannie Fresh. The album "Reality Check" debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling almost 174,000 copies. The singles "Rodeo", "Get Ya Hustle On", "What's Happenin'", and "Way I Be Leanin'" features Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Skip, & Wacko, and this singles is rocking the world right now. Juvenile, Wacko and Skip has recently release a new track titled "Damn N---a Damn", under UTP Records.

Juvenile is also actively involved in doing some charity works too. He has been working with fellow New Orleans rapper Master P and other hip hop artists to raise funds and supplies for the victims of the Katrina hurricane.
