Junior Senior
Background- With only two releases and Junior Senior are still rocking the world with their hip-hop and rock music.
Junior Senior is a popular hip hop, dance and rock duo, who hails from Denmark. The duo formed their band in the year 1998,. They earlier used to play in the band Ludo-X, that broke up in the year 1995. Senior is the name of Jeppe Laursen who was born in the year 1975. He is the vocalist and also plays the guitar and the bass and Junior is the name of Jesper Mortensen who was born in the year 1977. He is the vocalist and also plays the guitar and the keyboard. After forming Junior and Senior, they signed up a contract with Danish label Crunchy Frog Records.
The duo released their first album "D-D-Don't Stop the Beat" in the year 2003. "Move your Feet", was the first single, which became one of the most played songs on Danish radio and later also climbed the charts in over thirteen countries, including the United States, Australia, France, the United Kingdom and Denmark. It is also available on the soundtrack of the popular American television show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. "Move Your Feet" has also been included in the DDR Extreme for the Playstation 2, which is the US version of the hit dance game. It was followed by the single, "Rhythm Bandits", that appeared in the singles charts in the UK and Australia, and it was also included in the soundtrack of the game FIFA 2004. What's more, D-D-Don't Stop the Beat was also included in several other publications that appeared in the lists of "Best Albums of 2003". These publications were Rolling Stone, NME, Entertainment Weekly and Blender. In addition, The Sunday Chronicle in San Francisco has rated the single "Move your Feet" as the single of the year and also calling it "the best song ever".

The single "Shake Your Coconuts" is available on the soundtrack of Looney Tunes: Back in Action. It is, eventually is used as the menu music in the game of Worms 3D by Team17 Software. A video has also been made on "Move your Feet". It has been made by designer group Shynola and another video on a "Making Of" as enhanced content. When the Junior Senior were asked by a reporter about how many copies would "Making Of," would sell, he replied, "Three to four hundred". Another song "White Trash" from this album was used by Music Magazine TV show for a popular advertisement.
They released their second album, "Hey Hey My My Yo Yo" in the year 2005 in Japan. This album too was a smashing hit and it peaked to #2 on the charts. The first single from the album, "Itch U Can't Skratch" is presently available in Japan and Denmark. The track "Take My Time" features Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson of New Wave band The B-52's. In the year 2006, in the month of February and March, the duo held a contest for their fans to select the one who would appear in a music video for their song "Can I Get Get Get" and the video of the song was released in the year 2006, on 25th June.
The albums that Junior Senior has released so far are "D-D-Don't Stop the Beat" in the year 2003 that appeared at #29 UK and "Hey Hey My My Yo Yo" in the year 2005. Their singles are "Move Your Feet" in the year 2003, that appeared at #3 UK and #20 Australia and "Rhythm Bandits" in the year 2003 that appeared at #22 UK, and #47 Australia, "Shake Your Coconuts" in the year 2003, Boy Meets Girl EP in the year 2003 and "Itch U Can't Skratch" in the year 2005.
