Jonsi is the guitarist and singer from the Icelandic rock band Sigur Ros. He has broken out on his own with his debut album, Go. The 2010 album was released on April 5th and has climbed the Billboard charts with its Baroque pop. The album has become a cult favorite in the UK, Europe, and North America.
Jonsi performs with SAmuli Kosminen on drums, Nico Muhly on piano, and Alex Somers on guitar. He has additional a full compliment of musicians playing a variety of instruments on the album as well. The album peaked at number 23 on the Billboard charts and Jonsi will be touring until late summer 2010.
