Johnny Cash manager, Lou Robin is going to organize a musical tribute to one of the greatest musician in the history of American popular music,late Johnny Cash. The show will be held at one of the historic place, Ryman Auditorium. The show will be performed by the famous artists in the music industry. These musicians will be singing the songs of Johnny Cash.

Lou Robin has been the manager of Johnny Cash and has spent almost thirty four years with the great musician traveling with him across the globe. The tribute is for those die-hard fans of Cash who were either unable to attend or watch the funeral service of the country music icon. The funeral of Cash was held at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Johnny Cash died in Sept 12, due to complications which rose due to diabetes. He was at that time 71 years old.

"[The family] just wanted to … give the public … closure to their feelings about John's death," Robin said. "They thought maybe this would be an opportunity for a lot of different entertainers to come and voice their feelings and perform and entertain."

The famous musicians who would be performing at the Cash Memorial Concert are his daughter, Rosanne, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow, Hank Williams Jr., Jack Clement, Steve Earle and Larry Gatlin and also Bob Dylan, Bono and Bruce Springsteen.

The musical tribute will be held at Ryman Auditorium, because according to Robin, "It has a lot of ambiance and a lot of memories for everyone". Johnny Cash was nicknamed as "The Man in Black". He was very much popular among the his fans, due to the sole reason that he related to people and people related to him. As Robin said "He was an incredible human being, a very bright person and very intuitive — not only in his personal life — but in his musical life" and further added "He really knew how to transmit his thoughts on many subjects to people who shared those thoughts."

Johnny Cash, was born in Kingsland, Ark., in 1932. He started his career in Memphis with "Hey Porter", which recorded for Sun Records. In the year 1956, he recorded "Folsom Prison Blues". He used to attribute his success to his second wife June Carter, who also died just after Cash died.

Cash has recorded more than 1,500 songs, in almost 500 albums, and has carried a number of American and European releases.

He also became the youngest person to be inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He was the only performer who was selected for both the Country and Rock Music Hall of Fame. His music contained the themes of redemption, sorrow and moral tribulation. He was known for his distinctive and deep voice and his dark features and dark clothing, that earned him the nickname "The Man in Black.". He was a very down-to-earth person.
