Jethro show is always full of smiles and laughter. This comedian was born in 1948 in St.Buryan. It is a small village in West Cornwall and so is well known as Cornish Stand-up comedian. After Jethro finished his schooling, he didn't lazed away his time. He took up the job of a carpenter, where he worked as an apprentice. After working for some time as a carpenter, he started working in a tin mine as a timber man. When he was eighteen years old, he joined the St. Just and District Operatic Society, where he started learning bass voice and locals. While he was still pursuing his studies in music, he discovered that he also possessed the talent to make people laugh. He started polishing his this unique talent. As time passed, he also started visiting the the pubs in Cornwall. There he would sing and will also do some stand-up comedy. He continued to do so and people started liking him, as a result his fame spread and he became so popular in his village, that he started doing comedy instead of singing and was hailed as Cornwall's top comic.
From pub he moved on to do comic show on stage as well as video. He made his first appearance in the year 1990 on the Des O'Connor Tonight show. Later on Jethro has appeared, almost, nine time in the shows. After his first appearance in the show, he was again invited on the Christmas Eve show, since the audience demanded him in the show. It was first time ever that a comedian was invited twice during one series. Apart from it, he was also invited five times on Jim Davidson's Generation Game Show. In this show he gave demonstration of how to make a Cornish pasty, the show was so popular that he was invited twice. He also partnered Davidson in one of the show's longest sequences of out-takes. The show was later shown separately since it led to uncontrolled fits of humor. According to Davidson, Jethro is one of his favorite storyteller. Apart from being an invitee, he has also hosted two shows of his own. The name of the show are The Jethro Junction, that was featured on HTV and in the year 2001 in the month of December, he appeared for the Royal Variety Show, infront of Queen Elizabeth II.

Jethro lives in a place named Lewdown that is on the border between Cornwall and Devon. Apart from being a showman, he cares for humanity from heart. In March 1995, he partook in a walking competition and walked 100 miles or so from Land's End to Lewdown, so that he can raise fund for the Bristol Cancer Open Scanner Appeal. Every night he used to perform at a local venue and was able to manage to raise a hefty sum of £20,000. He loves horses too and he loves showing them off to the world and with these horses he has also won many prizes, including Wembley. He has also opened his own club named after his own name-Jethro's Club and in this club he carries on a lot of charity work, by performing a show every year. He has also been the director of a channel Sound TV, but left it as the channel ran into some problem. He released his first video A Portion of Jethro in 1993 and this video sold for nearly 150,000 copies in UK as well as outside.
