This include Peanut, a woozle (a fictional animal character, described in Winnie the Pooh stories), Walter, a bitter old man named, and José Jalapeño which is a talking jalapeño pepper on a stick. Apart from performing shows, he has also released a new DVD, entitled "Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself". The DVD was released in the year 2006. Recently, he has added three more characters- Sweet Daddy Dee, Bubba J, and Phil, to his regular puppets.
Artist Biography -jeff Dunham
Every puppet of Jeff Dunham has a story (a fictional biography) to tell. Peanut was born in an island in Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean. He has five siblings. He was never interested in studies and as a result he never finished school. In the year 1986, he moved to the U.S. He met Jeff Dunham in Florida,(as mentioned in Arguing With Myself). He is a purple woozle with purple fur a small tuft of green hair on his head and only one shoe. Then there is Walter who is a retired and grumpy old man. He has always his arms crossed in discontent. He is a veteran of Vietnam War. He always carries a pessimistic attitude towards life as well as today's world and "doesn't give a damn" about anyone. The next puppet is Jose Jalapeño is actually a jalapeño pepper with a latino personality, wearing a broad trimmed straw hat which is usually worn in Mexico and Spain, and a mustache. His famous running joke is "on a stick" which he adds to the end of his every sentences. His movement is actually restricted to only one single movement, that is the mouth which Jeff operates by using his thumb on the back of Jose's infamous stick. During the show, Jose always appears during Peanut's act and both the characters get into an argument, with Jeff in the middle of it all. Jose keeps on telling that he hails from Florida and has clarified that he is a Cuban and not Mexican.
One of the latest characters of Jeff is Bubba J, the "J" is short for his last name. Now this funny character loves beer and NASCAR. What's more, he is married and has one child too (don't be so surprised). What is more funny about this character is that this puppet can move just his left eye from center to left. The puppet funnily resembles more like Mortimer Snerd. The next new entrant in Jeff's show is Sweet Daddy Dee. He is actually Jeff's "new manager". He always wears a purple pimp suit and is bald underneath his removable hat He is always trying to teach Jeff something or the other, but is unsuccessful in his endeavor to educate Jeff.
Next is the Superhero Guy, Melvin, who is actually the older version of Jeff. Although he is not included in the DVD, but he shows up on the episode of the Comedy Central Presents. He feels that he would have been a superhero if he had a proportionate nose as well as a small stature. Next is Phil, the Dead Terrorist. He is a different character as he looks like skeleton who martyred himself during the time of a suicide bombing. He presently lives on as a skeleton with facial hair. Apparently, it seems he has some problems to keep his feet on the stand and so always keeps on shouting "Foot! Foot! Foot!" to Jeff so as to keep his feet up. If people make fun of him, then he keeps on shouting by saying "kill you" or "Silence!".
You are going to love his show and even your kids are going to love it. So book your tickets now.
