JD McPherson Tickets for Sale
JD McPherson is giving people a second chance to know him. He has re-released his debut album in 2012 through Rounder Records. The album and the artist have been given due attention and now fans are being given a chance to see him live with JD McPherson tickets to see him in concert during this long tour.
The album, Signs and Signifiers, harkens back to the 1950s, with dominance of rockabilly and R&B. The sound is contemporary though, with this foundation built upon with modern influences like the Wu-Tang Clan, Son House, and Charlie Feathers. All this would be for naught if J.D. McPherson could not carry a tune or if his voice fell too short of a soul artist like Sam Cooke. Obviously, he does not fall short and the album is a truly phenomenal recording begging for its fans to see him live, especially after checking out "North Side Gal".

J.D. McPherson may play music inspired by the 1950s, but he was born in 1976 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. His first musical experience drew him to the guitar at the age of 13 and to punk groups while in high school. Yet, at the same time, he began to cultivate an interest in rock and roll from the 1950s. Though he pursued this interest as a hobby, he graduated from the University of Tulsa with an M.F.A. and began working as an art teacher.
He took the hobby to the next level and sent a demo to Hi-Style Records, a record label based well north of Oklahoma in Chicago. The label specialized in the rockabilly of that bygone era. The album signed him and he recorded Signs and Signifiers, releasing it independently in 2010. Two years later, he drew interest from Rounder Records and the new label re-released the album. OnlineSeats has the JD McPherson tickets to rock and roll with this retro rockabilly artist live.
