JANE FONDA, with the birth name of Lady Jayne Seynour Fonda, was born on December 21, 1937 in New York. She shot to fame owing to her immaculate acting style that left no loopholes.

She remained active in the acting stream from the year 1960 to the present juncture. She married thrice. Her first husband was Ted Turner (21 December 1991-22 May 2001)Divorced, Tom Hayden (January 21 1973 to 1990) Divorced with one child and Roger Vadim (14 august 1965-january 16 1973) divorced with one child.

Fonda was born to actor Henry Fonda and socialite Frances Ford Seymour in New York City. At twelve, she saw her mother committed suicide after voluntarily seeking treatment at a psychiatric hospital.

It was on April 5, 2005 that Random House released Fonda's autobiography My Life So Far.
