The group members of Jagged Edge are the twin lead singers Brian Casey who has been nicknamed as Brasco and Brandon Casey aka Case Dinero, born in the year 1975, Kyle Norman nicknamed as Quick, and Richard Wingo nicknamed as Wingo. They are a group of singers of an American R&B who were originally signed up with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records to Columbia Records. One of their friend Kandi Burruss who is from the band Xscape after hearing their compositions recommended that Wingo should be brought in the group. It was also due to Kandi Burruss, that Jagged Edge was brought to the notice of Dupri. The group then started producing a number of albums and singles that was similar to the style of New Edition, Jodeci, and Dru Hill, and also many of those which were hit was produced by Dupri, thus helping Jagged Edge to occupy a popular fan base.

In the year 1998, the group released A Jagged Era their first album. It proved to be a super hit and as a result the album managed to go gold and even featured the single "Gotta Be." Not only this, the track even reached #11 on the R&B charts and #23 on the Hot 100. After their debut album became super hit, Jagged Edge came out with their next album in the year 2000, "J.E. Heartbreak". These album, too, was a hit and was the breakthrough with several popular singles, as the album went double platinum and had the hit single "Let's Get Married" which topped the R&B charts and reached #11 on the Hot 100. The album's second single, "He Can't Love You" also proved to be successful, reaching #3 on the R&B charts and #15 on the Hot 100. It also featured the track single "Promise" which reached #1 on the R&B charts and #9 on the Hot 100.
The group then came out with the album's lead single, "Keys To The Range", but unfortunately it didn't do well like the earlier albums. Jagged Edge then came out with their third album "Jagged Little Thril" which was released in the year 2001. The album was a tremendous hit and it went platinum. The success of the album was due to the up-tempo of the song "Where The Party At". The song reached #1 on the R&B charts and #3 on the Hot 100, which was one of the group's highest charting single, till date. They then released two other singles "Goodbye" and "I Got It 2" but it couldn't reach the place, the earlier singles did. Undeterred, Jagged Edge released their fourth album, Hard in the year 2003 . The album was super hit and as a result withing one month the album went gold. The album's single "Walked Outta Heaven" did very well on the charts, reaching #6 on the Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B charts. Although the follow-up single, "What's It Like" was not that super hit like "Walked Outta Heaven", but still it did went well. During this same year, Dupri and So So Def left Columbia Records and signed up with Arista Records but Jagged Edge stayed on with Columbia. In the year 2006, on 9th May Jagged Edge released a self-titled album, " Jagged Edge" by Columbia/Sony Music Urban. Recently, Jagged Edge has released an album that contains all the biggest hits of Jagged Edge, plus a few album tracks, named "The Hits featuring Jagged Edge's".
