Jack Blades
Born in Palm Desert, California on April 24, 1954, Jack graduated as a pre-medical student from San Diego State University. Jack Blades grew up learning different musical chores. At the age of eight, he began playing the guitar entertaining his family and friends. During the 70s, he used to play with the local bands in the Southern California area. It was a time when he was also studying as a pre-medical student. He worked with several rock bands after he finally entered the field, with Rubicon he got his name in the highlight.
Popularly known as an American musician, Jakes Blades has a huge fan following. He worked as a bassist and one of the lead vocalist with Night Ranger, then he joined hands with founding members of Damn Yankees completing the group. His rock sounds made his listeners tap their feet along with his power packed performances.
This artist had worked with well known names including Styx member Tommy Shaw, he recorded few albums with him and released his albums under the tag Shaw/Blades. Recently, he ventured working with TMG, the Tak Matsumoto Group. While working with them he performed ""Never Good-bye". It was supposed to be the ending credit theme for Ultraman (a.k.a. Ultraman: The Next), a film of 2004. Blades had appeared on Mötley Crüe's Dr. Feelgood album and a few of his numbers are played on the 2005 soundtrack album for a movie, also his songs can be heard on TMG 1, the 2004 album by Tak Matsumoto Group.
Not just this his career had many memorable events, while songwriting he co-wrote with Steven Tyler, Tommy Shaw and Joe Perry. He wrote four Aerosmith songs with them which were highly appreciated and gained the desired success. In 1993 he wrote songs like "Shut Up and Dance", "Can't Stop Messin'" then in 1994, "Walk on Water" became a huge hit and "What Kind of Love Are You On" was written in 1998. In December 2004, a DVD was released that led to the plans for 2006, when they would release another TMG.
Touring extensively this artist had exposed himself to numerous audiences at different geographic areas. So if you want to watch the superb talent of this musician you will have to book your tickets beforehand.
