Hank Iii
Hank III is a country singer and belongs to Country Music's Royal Family, The Hank Williams Family. His full name is Shelton Hank Williams III and he was born on 12th December, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the grandson of the legendary Hank Williams and the son of Hank Jr. He was already country music royalty before he sang a single note.
But instead of taking to the country genre, he began playing drums and punk music. He also fell prey to to weed and smoked hordes of it. But he had to mend his ways by 1996 and he began his music career by signing a contract with major label, Curb. The label issued the album, "Three Hanks: Men with Broken Hearts." The album with the help of modern technology brought together all three generations of Williams. The idea was not to the liking of Hank III and this started a feud between the artist and the label, which would last for the rest of their turbulent relationship.

The label then released Hank III's proper debut album in September 1999 titled, "Risin Outlaw." The album consisted of thirteen country songs. Hank did his best to support the album by performing many country gigs and also performed on the 2001 Vans Warped Tour alongside bands like Rancid. But Hank was also not too pleased the album and called it a label controlled fiasco. Hank also tried desperately to be released from his contract with Curb. But he released his next installation, "Lovesick, Broke & Driftin" in 2002. His previous album had included material from outside writers but his new album was written entirely by Hank III. The relationship between Curb and Hank III got worse when the label refused to released next LP, "This Ain't Country" and did not give Hank the rights to release it independently.
Hank's third album was finally released in 2003 and was titled, "Thrown Out Of The Bar" and his long awaited, "This Ain't Country." He also released very limited editions of his album through his personal website. Hank continues to play as a bassist on the side project of Pantera front man, Phil Anselmo called Superjoint Ritual.
