The Ladies Professional Golf Association is a professional sports organization that gives great women athletes opportunity to shine alongside the men. These Women’s Professional Golf tickets have been available for over a half century and this organization will continue to organize and host tourneys well into the future.

Each season consists of 27 tournaments with five majors and a season-ending playoff scheduled between February and November. The five ladies major championships include the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the Wegmans LPGA Championship, the U.S. Women’s Open, the Ricoh Women’s British Open, and the Evian Championship. All these tournaments lead up to the CME Group Titleholders tournament. This is the big LPGA tournament, with three days of playoffs leading to a final championship round.

The biggest name in the history of Women’s Professional Golf includes Kathy Whitworth, who played I the LPGAs early years, Nancy Lopez in the late 1970s, Annika Sorenstam from the mid-90s to the middle of the first decade in the 21st century, and Lorena Ochoa immediately after Sorenstam. Currently, the LPGA is in search of a new leader to emerge from a particularly talented field of talent.
