Wendys 3 Tour Challenge Tickets The 3-Tour Challenge takes one day to complete, is usually held on a Tuesday, and is the only professional golf tournament in which three players from each tour go against each other in competitive, head-to-head threesomes, in order to determine all-around Tour bragging rights. The tournament is handicapped to level the playing field; PGA Tour players play the course at its full length, Champions Tour players hit from mid-range tees that shorten the course, and the LPGA players shoot from tees that are even a little shorter. This nationally televised Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge is the only one of its kind in the world, featuring the top players from each PGA branch competing head-to-head in three-member teams. The Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge supports the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption; a charity established by tournament founder Wendy's, the fast food restaurant that sponsors the event. In 2005 the 3-Tour Challenge raised a record $3.8 million, and in its 17-year history, since it was founded in 1992, the event has raised more than $30 million for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Over the entire run of the Wendy's Challenge, the teams are ranked in order of tournament wins as follows: PGA – 11 victories, LPGA – 4 victories, and Champions Tour – 2 victories. Leading up to yet another event, November 6-10, 2009, the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge just keeps getting better and better.
