Kiwi Challenge Tickets The Kiwi Challenge was first played in 2008, and is a golf tournament which is played as part of the PGA Tour's Challenge Season. The inaugural Kiwi Challenge was aired in December on NBC and was played on the Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers course in New Zealand over two days; with the competitors playing their first round on one course, before boarding a helicopter and flying to play the second. The 36-hole Kiwi Challenge plays with a four man field, which in 2008 was comprised of Anthony Kim, Hunter Mahan, Adam Scott and Brandt Snedeker. The total purse for the first Kiwi was $2.6 million, with $1.5 million going to the winner Hunter Mahan, followed by Kim in 2nd ($500,000), Snedeker ($350,000), and Scott ($250,000). The next Kiwi Challenge will be played on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island, at the Cape Kidnappers course, on November 11-12, 2009, and will carry total prize money of $2 million. Cape Kidnappers was designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak. The remarkably breathtaking par 71 golf course measures 7,119 yards, and will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Completed in 2004, Cape Kidnappers has been revered as one of the great modern golf marvels, and is currently ranked as the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf Magazine.

 The 2009 Kiwi Challenge will feature a field made up of American golfers Hunter Mahan, Anthony Kim, and Sean O'Hair, along with Colombia's Camilo Villegas; all competing for the winner's share of this PGA Tour-sanctioned tournament.
