Att Pebble Beach Pro Am Tickets
The Pebble Beach format now continues to team top PGA professionals with Hollywood celebrities, world renowned musicians, and the major corporate leaders, all competing for the $6.1 million in winnings. The famous foursomes rotate between the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course, Spyglass Hill, and Pebble Beach Golf Links, on Thursday through Saturday, with the final cut being made on Saturday night and leaving the leading 60 pros and 25 pro-am teams to play Pebble Beach for the championship on Sunday.

Originally known as the Bing Crosby National Pro-Amateur, or simply the Crosby Clambake, the tournament is typically held during the month of February. In 1937, Bing Crosby hosted the first National Pro-Amateur Golf Championship at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California, the event's location prior to World War II. Sam Snead won that first tournament, and took home a first place check was of $500. After the war, the tournament resumed play in 1947 on golf courses in its current home of Pebble Beach; the Pebble Beach Golf Links, Cypress Point Club, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club until 1966.

Att Pebble Beach Pro Am 2010

 Spyglass Hill replaced Monterey Peninsula Country Club as the third course in 1967, with the exception of one year, 1977, which witnessed its return to Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Taking a major stance in 1991, the PGA Tour dropped Cypress Point Club because it would not admit a black member. Poppy Hills Golf Course was the chosen replacement, a move that finalized the lineup of AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am venues from that point through 2009, although the 2010 Pebble Beach Pro-Am will see Monterey Peninsula Country Club replacing Poppy Hills.
The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am continues to be a success every year, even with frequent rainfall typically slowing down play, especially in 1996, 1998, and 1999. Obviously lending to Pebble Beach's success, notable professionals in recent years have included Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Mark O'Meara, Davis Love III, and Vijay Singh, while equally notable celebrities have included perennial fan favorite Bill Murray in addition to the likes of Glenn Frey, Kevin Costner, Steve Young, George Lopez, Tom Brady, and Carson Daly. Given the success and popularity of the Pebble Beach format, there is an equivalent celebrity pro-am event on the European Tour, called the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
