Florida International Golden Panthers Tickets for Sale

On the court, 6'-2' senior Junior Matias (14 ppg, 6 rpg) is back after playing in just six games a year ago due to injury. He excelled in a short time, and will likely get plenty of shots. Freshman G Alan Guyton adds what little backcourt depth they have. Florida International was 5-9 SU/2-7 ATS at home and 0-13, 2-7 ATS on the road. With the lack of offense, this team was 7-1 UNDER the total last year.

The frontcourt hasn't played together, but they do have some incoming talent to watch. 6'-6' Ivan Almonte is a JC All-American and will team with Matias to provide a decent inside-out punch offensively. They also welcome back role players 6'-6' Raphael DeSilva (7 ppg, 3.6 rpg), 6'-9' 250-lb senior Byron Burnett and 6'-7' Warren Gale. There are too many holes and too little height for Florida International to have a winning season.
This team has gone 8-21 and 5-22 the last two seasons, so coach Donnie Marsh is out. His assistant, Sergio Rouco, is the new head coach. The Florida International Golden Panthers were a poor 40% from the field shooting and allowed opponents to shoot 45%. Their strong backcourt from a year ago has graduated, so there is a lot of work to do.
