Ferras
Ferras Alqaisi was born in 1982 and raised in a small town in southern Illinois named Gillespie. He never felt quite right there, and eventually moved out West to find himself comfortable in his surroundings. Before that could happen, he endured a trying period shortly after his parents divorce. His father took him to the airport one day when he was five, bought him a Casio keyboard from Wal-Mart along the way, and told he had two tickets for Disneyland. Ferras ended up in Amman, Jordan. While his father's family treated him lovingly, he yearned to be back at home with his mother.
He began to write songs during this difficult time and his mother eventually was able to bring him back home. This experience would have a tremendous effect on his life. He felt the urge to write emotional ballads, but did not feel that his small southern Illinois town was the right place to pursue these dreams of being a singer/songwriter. This time his family had tickets to go West, and they settled in California where he began to see his dream take shape.

Artist Biography - Ferras

 It was an unlikely source that first confirmed his destiny. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst heard him sing and decided he, a rock/rapper, wanted to sing the ballad singer/songwriter to his label. Ferras ultimately declined and went east to Boston to attend the Berklee School of Music. Durst managed to get an audition with Capitol Records that ended with Ferras having tickets back to Boston with a record label supporting him.
His first album, Aliens and Rainbows, was released in 2008 and his first television appearance came on the Today Show that same year. With the help of producers The Matrix and Gary Clark the album has made an impact and attracted fans. OnlineSeats has Ferras tickets to his concerts throughout his promotional tour schedule.
