Faith Evans album managed to released her debut album in the year 1995. The fabulous self-titled CD, Faith Evans, instantly became a huge hit based on the chartbuster songs "Soon as I Get Home" and her brilliant debut single titled "You Used to Love Me."
The album went on be certified as Platinum and sold around a million copies,

One of her finest albums till date is The First Lady, which incidentally is her fourth popular album of modern R&B series. It also is a quite complex package to decode and understand. Before you even start to listen to a single note, the remarkable disc makes an interesting impression. The album combines hip-hop with class. Most parts of the great album is aimed very straight at the core of the R&B market instead of the hip-hop crowd, essentially laying in tracks of mid-tempo very neo-soul drenched densely harmonized choruses that manages to put Evans in the distinguished realm of Alicia Keys and the likes of Jill Scott. In some tracks Evans traffics in retro-soul groove combining lush harmonies and beautiful slow-jam vocals that seem quite at home on an very oldies station on a blissful Saturday night.

So if you are looking towards listening to some wonderful R&B sounds; be sure to get your tickets early and enjoy the melodic voice of Faith Evans.
