Groove started his career in musical and Internet stardom in second grade. At the very first stage, he started playing piano while taking his mom's lead. She taught him with the children's choir.

He says that he started playing sax when he was just nine. He lends his ears to everything. May be it was urban or pop or big band or country, his playing hardly reflected the confusion of sounds.

He developed a taste of jazz after coming at the University Of Miami's progressive and innovative School Of Music.

Groove was very much inspired from big bands of Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Stan Getz, King Curtis and Tom Scott. Groove, at this time, also made an exposure to the r&b sounds of WKYS in Washington. After graduating from college, he stayed in Miami for a few years, gigging with an array of bands, including Expose, with whom he played on ‘Season's Change,' a No.1 Billboard AC hit.

In the last ten years, he made lot many tours. He has also given performances with world class artists and recorded with a ‘Who's Who' in modern music. The artists who staged with him are Joe Cocker, Eurythmics, The Gap Band, Huey Lewis and the News, Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, Aaron Neville, Eros Ramazotti and Richard Marx.

What has made Groove earn a special respect in the music industry is his unique collection with urban and r&b-tinged jazz instrumentals. Sometimes, he experiments with a few transcendent smooth jazz and Urban/ AC vocal tracks together.

There is a free flow of melodic sensitivity and a sense of emotional captivating quality on his compositions. A depth of pop and jazz sensitivity also comes at par in the matter.
