In 1985 he again performed at the Sanremo Festival. He tasted success with his presentation of 'Una storia importante' and decided to enter the the European market. After a year he again performed at the Sanremo Festival winning the established performers category with 'Adesso tu'. By the time he reached the age of 22 Eros was a very popular artist and and was able to make a mark in many European markets. His first album was tilted 'Cuori agitat'. His another LP ' In certi momenti' released in 1987 was another major hit and established himself as a successful musician once for all. The album had ' La luce buona delle stelle' sunged by Patsy Kensit. Agter after the release of this LP he produced a Spanish version to be released in the Latin American market. In 1998 he released another album titled ' Musica è,'. Though it was a mini album but soon sold more copies then ' In certi momenti'. The year 1990 saw the release of ' In ogni senso ' after a hiatus of two years. With the release he decided to enter the US market. His show at the Radio City Music Hall in New York witnessed marvelous success.

Three years later his next album ' Tutte storie ' turned out to be the major hit of his career surpassing all the expectations. He then embarked on another tour to Europe and many other Latin American countries. He was part of the 1994 MTV Awards held in Berlin. After returning to Italy he involved himself with the project of Trio featuring him, Pino Daniele and Jovanotti. It later culminated into the musical event of the year. In 1995 he took part in the Summer Festivals held in seven cities of Europe including Bucharest, Berlin and Munich. He was accompanied in the festival by other greats like Elton John, Joe Cocker, Robert Plant,Rod Stewart, Jimmy Page and Sheryl Crow. In 1996 he released ' Dove c'è musica '. The album was his first self-produced album with collaboration of international musicians. The year 1997 was marked by his second produced album 'Eros' and was arranged by Celso Valli. The album consisted of 16 songs with two duets ' 'Musica è ' and ' Cose della vita/Can't stop thinking of you' with Andrea Bocelli and Tina Turner respectively. The album sold about 5,800,000 copies throughout the world. In 1998 'Eros Live' was released which was his second live CD containing 15 tracks. It had guest appearances of Joe Cocker and Tina Turner. In 2000 released ' Stilelibero ' which was recorded in collaboration with many international producers such as Trevor Horn and Rick Nowels along with his established producers Adelio Cogliati, Celso Valli and Claudio Guidetti.
