Erin Bode, a jazz vocalist also happens to be an American singer.

Although, she made a foray into the musical arena on 2001, she has managed to gain immense name and fame and garnered much praise. What has made her famous and renown is her voice that is often described as pure with a perfect pitch and impressive phrasing. Those who have seen her say that she is ‘someone you won't forget'. Her tendency to ‘explore a wide range of material in a fresh, often subtle manner" has made her to rule the music world. Further, her frequent appearances on national television in United States on Fox & Friends Weekend and The Saturday Early Show has given her a celebrity status.

She was born in St Louis, Missouri, US. She carried oon with her musical journey in the genre Jazz while playing different vocal instruments. Through her sheer dedication and perseverance, she carved a niche in musical industry and is occupying a significant position from the year 2000 to the present year. Most of the albums have been released under the label Maz Jazz.

The other members of her group who have kept the music lively are EChris Higginbottom, Adam Maness and Syd Rodway.

Erin Bode Trio

The Erin Bode Trio, was the Bode's band first formed during her tenure at Webster. There were lot many revolving door musicians from her college in its initial days. However, the group reached consistency in 2003.

Right at this hour, the group has pianist Adam Maness, Chris Higginbottom as drummer and bassist Syd Rodway, Bode's husband.

Maness also happens to be a co-lyricist with Bode. The band has come up with two albums with Max Jazz. In 2004, it was Don't Take Your Time and in 2006, it is Over and Over. The latter album was a huge hi. It reached a peak position of seventeenth on the Billboard chart in Top Jazz Albums category in the year 2006.

Bode was born to a Lutheran minister who wanted her to carry on with the music. She was the youngest of the four children born in Wayzata, Minnesota near Minneapolis-St. Paul. As her father was very much interested to take her into singing stream, she was leaded to join a church choir.
During her high school days, that is at Lutheran South High School and Eureka High School, she topped at the trumpet which was borrowed by her from her older brother. She displayed her scintillating performance in sixteen theatre productions.

She started off with her college at the University of Minnesota. However, later on, she transferred to Webster University. At this particular juncture, she gave performances with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra for a continuous time span of three seasons.

She was very much influenced and impressed by a jazz pianist/singer Christine Hitt, who happened to be a teacher at Webster. She was her mentor as she introduced Bode to jazz. She also started nurturing her talent by inviting her often to sing in the selected shows of the area.

She staged her first show at Missouri Athletic Club. In the meantime, she continued with her studies and graduated with a degree in music and foreign languages that is Italian and French. However, later on, she transferred her major stream from classical music at Webster.

She stayed in the area during her graduation days and came up with her first studio album, Requests, in 2001. This particular album brought in a lot of local attention. Soon after, she was signed to St. Louis jazz label Max Jazz.
