In a career that has spanned for over five years, Elton John is regarded as one of the top notch selling solo artists, with over 250 million records that is sold world over and has over 50 Top 40 hits, making Elton one of the most popular and successful singer and composer of all times. He has received a huge number of industry awards, apart from Grammy, he has also received Tony's and an Oscar Award too. In the year 1994, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
