Eli-stone
There's a band, soul-stirring up quite a rumpus in the Saint Louis area with all the elements of a mega group, they're called "Eli-Stone". Highly aggressive, meticulous, sting board power, primitive rock, coarse and to the point. Their physical phenomenon with a force on the edge style have caught the industry by surprise and their live show is a theatrical achievement to the eyes and ears. They have caught the attention of many national acts after having toured the southern and east coast markets for the past 3 years and have been the most requested opener from the likes of Coal Chamber, Fear Factory, Slipknot and many others. Having signed this year to Hollowpoint Management Worldwide, a tour this year proceeds, that will send a onslaught of static throughout the 50 states. Recently Eli-Stone have completed their first professionally produced full length CD for the industry and their fans. With the mix production by Barry Conley at Paramount Recording Studio`s in Hollywood, California, these 12 tracks will fill your cognisance with stories of enigma, intrigue, malice and prophetic visions.
Eli-Stones new album Hard Times undergoes the roller coaster experiences people go through in life. The title explicates it all, its complete, one going through Hard Times is something the listener can relate to it at any level. Eli-Stone resides in IL. and consists of five members: they liberate their vituperative guitars with a cutting edge style, backed by the rhythm section that pounds the beat into your heart. Scott and Pingel take the music even further into the concept of the album. Using melodious vocals, lyrical profundity, acute energy and samples that take you to another place. A familiar place that we see everyday television,in the newspaper and the internet. A world in HARD TIMES. Its apparent this band is looking right through you, re-experiencing the songs and what they went through to finish this album. Come to an ELI-STONE show, ELI-STONE talks out to you...the listener....the fan..and says..HARD TIMES...you are not alone!

Artist Biography - Eli-stone
|
Loren (rhythm guitar) is a very belligerent rythm section by himself, and can definately be called the backbone of the band. His best work is pretty much on every song, as he fills out the sound that has made Eli-Stone a St. Louis favorite. It's full sound seems to have come naturally as he plays for the band that heavily rotates around rythm.
Lonnie's (bass) energetic melodies and buffeting bass lines, united with the raw confidence he displays on stage makes the live show something you'll need to see again and again. Check out I am I, 1:41,and Guns to get a feel of the vocals, valleculas, and raw energy that has come to be his trademark.
Scott Stoltz (Lead Vocals) is one of the more versatile singers in the area these days, easily changing from his trademark "yell" to fit the songs style. The pure hostility displayed in his vocals will definitely leave you wanting more.
Justin schmitt (drums): He has a way of fitting different styles into each song, so you're not hearing the same beat over and over again, and in combination with Lonnie and Loren he produces some of the best beats around. He is just to good to be true!!!
Pingel is the wild guy who makes all the cool noises. It's wise to keep an eye on him during the shows, he will keep you very well entertained. A very astute and diversed addition to the band.
Mark (Lead Guitar) : Being part of the "guitar attack squad" of Eli-Stone,Mark distinctly makes his presence known. From the time he steps on stage till the last riff of the show he never stops delivering. He is extremely impressive.
